First night back in the city
Yesterday afternoon we caught the train back into the city. It was a pleasant change to be able to get a seat on the train, it was somewhat of an unpleasant experience to pay $13 (although we did go through a tunnel that was possibly the length of Singapore).
First things first, we went to my favourite restaurant in Wellington and wouldn’t you know it was an Asian fusion restaurant (like I don’t get enough Asian food in Singapore (not so much fusion though)). Just to mix things up, I went for the Singapore noodles.
After a fairly rushed dinner a mate and I headed to a provincial rugby game at the cake tin (when in roam). Turns out, it was a pretty quiet game. All the fans must have been saving themselves for the rugby world cup.
